$10,000 Donated — One Cup, One Cheque, One Community at a Time
In just three short years, something powerful happened. Every cup of coffee enjoyed, every bag brewed at home, and every pot shared at work helped fuel a growing, community-driven impact—one that has now reached $10,000 donated toWilliam Osler Health System. This milestone wasn’t built on one large donation. It was built cheque by cheque—many of them small—but together they proved something important: when a community shows up consistently, even the smallest actions become powerful. In Ontario, hospitals rely on community support to fund 100% of medical equipment costs and 10% of new hospital spaces. That means the tools doctors and nurses use every day—and the spaces where care happens—exist because people choose to help in everyday ways. By simply choosing to drink our coffee, this community helped support: Life-saving hospital equipment Advanced medical technology New and expanded care spaces Health care for over 1.3 million people across Brampton, Etobicoke, and the Peel Region I’m incredibly grateful to every customer, subscriber, and supporter who made this possible—and to partners who believed in the mission early on, includingAndrea Worthingtonof Piccolo Toronto, Rob “Rooster” Rutledge, Al’s Barber Shop, Margaret and her amazing family at Rock Garden Farms, and our newest partners, the teams at GC Burger in Milton and Mississauga locations, who brought purpose-driven coffee into their spaces.
